Technology & Realization
At the beginning of my studies, I found Technology and Realization intimidating, even though I had a natural curiosity and talent for understanding how things work, especially technology-related systems. My initial hesitation came from not knowing where to start or how to apply these skills effectively in design. However, once I was introduced to circuits and learned how to create functional prototypes, I realized that this expertise area was not only accessible but also deeply rewarding. Prototyping allowed me to bring ideas to life and see how technology could enhance user experiences through interactivity and function.
As I explored further, I came to understand that technology isn’t just about sensors, circuits, or electronics; it also encompasses the materials and techniques we use to shape the world around us. This realization broadened my perspective and encouraged me to experiment with materials and fabrication methods, allowing me to connect technical functionality with creative exploration. These experiences have helped me see Technology and Realization as a bridge between ideation and tangible outcomes, giving designs both purpose and practicality.
Future Steps
In the future, I aim to expand my understanding of designing with technology holistically. I want to explore how various tools, techniques, and processes can be integrated into the design workflow to enhance both creativity and practicality. My focus is on using technology as a means to innovate and solve problems, not just as a functional element but as an integral part of the design process. By doing so, I hope to create solutions that are both impactful and grounded in meaningful application.
