Exploratory Making
By the end, I created my own working projects, combining creative ideas with functional designs. This course heightened my awareness of both aesthetics and mechanisms while equipping me with new ways to express and prototype my ideas.
Choosing Exploratory Making as an elective aligned with my goal to express ideas in diverse and tangible ways. I began by learning the fundamentals of creating aesthetically pleasing models, which provided a strong foundation.
As the course progressed, I tackled challenges like building a marble machine with various mechanisms, incorporating motors, and coding my prototypes. Through broad and deep explorations, I discovered the importance of rich interaction and intuitiveness for the user.
